Time is flying as we are not far from the New Year and it is time to update my dividend progress for the month of November. I look forward to seeing how everyone's 2019 shapes out and it appears that many of us made significant progress year over year. I have a break from school until I take my final class and graduate in May with the MBA.

October 2019 Dividend Update
I finished my capstone course for the MBA last week and am down to one final class needed that starts at the beginning of February. Looking forward to graduating in May 2020. The weather here is has turned very cold already. Record low temperatures and a record amount of snow already in November at one time.

September 2019 Dividend Update
Hello Everyone! I am getting ready for a conference call tonight with members of a group in my capstone class and thought I could sneak in a dividend update. September was a very nice month for many of us since many large companies pay on a quarterly schedule that falls on September. I have also been trying to accumulate one non dividend stock in the portfolio that is cheap (WTER) that could have potential. It is a speculative company that has not really made a profit which is disappointing, but revenue growth has been strong at over 50% growth for 5 years in a row and the potential of being acquired by a major brand is a possibility in the future. They sell their products in many large stores including Walmart and Kroger under the brand name Alkaline 88 and plan on acquiring AquaHydrate which is backed by Jillian Michaels, Mark Wahlberg, and P. Diddy.

August 2019 Dividend Update
Hello everyone! I have started my Fall semester and continue to work a FT job as I take my second from last course before I complete my MBA degree. I have made a few moves recently which increased my risk and reward. I sold some of my PSEC shares before earnings and used the money to trade options. I made some profits on a couple of those trades so far. School is unbelievably expensive for the amount of income I am making at my job and nowhere near to covering tuition, books, and all these extra fees. On top of all that they keep on raising the rates on me as I progress throughout the program. Therefore I am hoping to make money and save some from trading within the core dividend portfolio to save more, pay off/possibly refinance high interest debt, and invest more down the line without carrying as much of a debt load. Once I finish my degree it will be nice to not have to keep on owing more money.

July 2019 Dividend Update
Hello Everyone! This year is moving by really fast. We are already in early August and I start my capstone class for my MBA in a few weeks. One class in the fall and one in the winter and then I am finished. The costs of this degree is terrible for saving and investing purposes. It also does not come with a guaranteed job and salary. This makes it hard, but I hope it helps me in the future.

June 2019 Dividend Update
Hello Everyone! I made it through my summer class and am down to my final two courses for my MBA degree. I have a break from school until the end of August which is good. My dividend income may start decreasing a bit due to sales I made to try and reduce my debt levels from ever increasing tuition expenses. June was a pretty good month though for income. I have been trying to build monthly bond fund interest income up in my work 403b account at the same time as keeping track of this individual brokerage account here.

May 2019 Dividend Update
The month of May flew by pretty quickly as I am in an accelerated MBA course this summer that ends in about 10 days. It has been a busy semester with a lot of long papers to write. My bday was in May and I turned 33. I am trying to pay off credit card debt from school with selling as little in income generating securities as possible. I like to think I am making progress to covering all my expenses every year and can retire several years early then the traditional suggestions.

April 2019 Dividend Update
Hello everyone! April was a busy month for winter classes ending and continuing to work full time while completing my MBA. I ended up selling my shares in WMT after I received this dividend in order to help pay for high interest school debt and classes. I also made a couple purchases in KDP at attractive prices and think there is value in the stock in the future.

March 2019 Dividend Update
Another month has passed and the weather should be warming up soon, but the last couple days it was still snowing and icy here. Winter seems to be longer and longer every year and the weather never seems to warm up like I would like it to. The dividend income heated up and allowed me to hit over $400 for the first time in this account this month as the quarter came to a close.

February 2019 Dividend Update
We made it into March, but the weather still thinks it should be as cold as it is in the middle of the winter. The dividends are one of a few positive things to look forward to among the gloomy days of work, school, snow, and frozen conditions.

January 2019 Dividend Update
This winter has been long and busy, but the stock market has been rising steadily and the dividends for the most part have been consistently deposited and reinvested into my account. January was a decent month for me.

December 2018 Dividend Update
The final month of the year is usually a solid month for dividend growth investors and December 2018 was not any different across many of the bloggers reports recently published. Mine was a record total for any month in my taxable brokerage accounts I publish here.
