December 2019 Dividend Update

We have come to a the end of 2019 and on to a new year in 2020. I have one last course from Feb-April and will be graduating on April 29, 2020 with my Master Degree in Global Supply Chain Management & International Business. I am hoping to find a career using either my Finance degree or my MBA in the near future.

In addition to trying to sustain and grow my dividends and pay off my debts, I am speculating on a couple cheap stocks that I feel may have potential. BNGO being one of those companies I recently have been adding to. I used to own RGEN at $3 something many years ago and sold back then and missed out on what is now a $97 stock. We will see what happens with this company as a lot of these stocks have pumped recently and M&A is alive also.

Overall, 2019 was a decent year with my portfolio returns and in terms of income generation. Let see what I ended the year with.

    1. desidividend,

Yes, I have a decent amount of BA. I mostly held it through all the years of 787 delays. It is a good thing they figured that out because that will need to help carry them through this period of halting the 737 max and fixing the issues.

Thank you for the kind words,

    1. Lanny,

I bought a lot of high income monthly payers a few years ago on top of the core (safer) investments to try and increase my income and reinvest them to grow. Since I am close to finishing school I have tried to shift a little to capital gains and a little bit of interesting speculation to try and exponentially grow my account for FIRE or paying off debt.

I use Etrade for my brokerage account and have a Roth IRA there as well. I have Fidelity for my work 403b account, but am only allowed to invest in mutual funds there.

      Thanks for stopping by!
